AUK Control Measures
AUK members receive written advice on training and equipment from a qualified cycle coach (see Handbook). For non-members, the relevant pages may be requested from organisers or downloaded from www.audax.uk.net AUK requires proof of passage at control places averaging 50-80 km apart and the control times are designed to prevent racing (see Event Brevet Card). Riders are reminded that some routes may be arduous and are encouraged to enter events in advance and prepare by studying the route (see Entry Form). Riders are reminded that routes are on open public roads and that they are responsible for their own safety and conduct (see Entry Form). Organisers are reminded to keep catering simple unless a helper with food hygiene qualifications is present (see Organisers' Guidelines). |
